We want your children to enjoy church, and that's why we insist they attend classes designed just for them. Kids services mimic grownup church, but are a lot more fun. Through energetic worship and illustrated sermons, your children will learn more about who God is, and what hopes and plans He has for their lives.
Power Kids, under the direction of Pastor David Barnes, is for children in first to fifth grade. They meet in the gym and begin services the same way grownups do, with a time of praise and worship, followed by a message geared to their age level. It's Pastor Dave's hope that all these elementary school students will develop a personal relationship with Jesus.

Pastor Michelle Vincent heads the early childhood part of the ministry. There's Praise Kids for babies and toddlers, and Promise Kids for preschool and kindergarten ages. Pastor Michelle and her team of trained staff and volunteers use Bible stories, songs and games to engage the children and communicate God's love.
Plan on arriving 5-10 minutes early to register your children, especially if it's your first time. Look for the registration area in the main lobby of the Family Life Center, where you'll use our Parent Pager system to sign in your child. Parent Pager allows us to keep track of kids in our care, and it also gives us a way to contact you if necessary. Kids Ministry volunteers are available to help you and answer any questions about the process.
We know leaving your child somewhere new might be scary on your first visit — for you and for them — so you're welcome to attend service with them until you're both comfortable.
