Well Versed: September

In an effort to get well-versed in scripture, we're reading books of the Bible and learning key scriptures together. In September, we're studying Romans and Galatians and learning 2 Peter 1:3, which reads:

“His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”

Caregivers

We're looking for part-time workers to join our nursery staff. Café

Interested in working in our Café? We have part-time positions available and are also looking for a Cook, who will prepare and serve meals.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Working with Kitchen Coordinator on planning meals and new ideas for the Café.
  • Preparing items on menu.
  • Assisting in preparation and cooking for special events and sports events.
  • Following recipes and portion control.
  • Keeping inventory.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
  • Properly storing food items in accordance with safe food-handling techniques.
  • Directing team members regarding proper food safety guidelines.

This position answers to the Kitchen Coordinator, and the schedule includes Wednesday and Saturday evenings, and Sunday mornings.
